This project was about experimenting with light.
As a variation of the infinity mirror the model „Tube Bending“ shows an infinite tube, witch is manipulatable. The mirrors inside the model can be controlled by pushing and turning the controllers to change the orientation of the tube. The tube‘s shape is defined by eight light points. Depending on the movement the light points concentrate or expand and drag the viewer into itself.
The contrast infinite and finite gets intensified by the viewer‘s possibility to move around the object, having the finitude of the infinity mirror always present. At the same time there is another tube at the opposite side that should let the viewer look into or through the same room and by that also through the first tube.
