STX / NIKE Launch Women's Pocket
Project Goals: Create a women's pocket that remains legal in all weather conditions, costs less to manufacture, and enhances ball control.
Solution: By designing a tapered pocket I can push the ball into the pocket's sweet spot. The chevrons bend with the weight of the ball and increase the hold, increasing to the widest point on the pocket, the sweet spot. The pocket is constructed from a die cut coated base and casted PU chevron cross members.
