Cover Art Concept • Photoshop, retouching and compositing w/vector graphics. • From the start of story development I envisioned the main character of Samara to resemble actress Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist, Game of Thrones.) Using her likeness for reference and creating a background that would put attention on her, I introduced the asteroid streaking behind as our "environmental antagonist." I wanted the look and feel to resemble the style of Drew Struzan's classic movie posters. • Ray Duran later created the final illustrated version.
