Roland Albertson
Johannesburg based Roland Albertson approached us to design the artwork for his debut album ‘Legends of the Sun’. The brief was open and allowed K&i to learn everything we could about Roland, his music, and professional goals. Roland’s musical style inspired our choice of typography, imagery, colour, and textural approach. Roland has since been featured on iTunes and recently won the 'Best Male Artist' category at The International Acoustic Music Awards held in the US. The album is now on its second print run. K&i also had the pleasure in designing tour posters for their Legends of the Sun Tour. One of the gigs was at our local pub The Brass bell in Kalk bay. The poster has since been mounted, as a permanent artwork on one of the walls, we're guessing the owner likes it.
