The “sLIDe”, is an alternative dumpster lid concept which is intended to make a weekly routine more practical and user-friendly. The sliding hatch, which rotates into a vertical resting position, allows for the user to easily dispose of trash without having to hold the heavy and awkward lid over their head. Not having to hold the lid over ones head greatly limits the strain on the body and allows for a more relaxed and effortless disposal, greatly improving the user’s experience.
