Studio Experience
Designed a grease catcher for residential use to address the current reality and pressing problem of sewage blockages and overflows. The resulting final concept of product and marketing integrated consumer education, product exposure and usability, city funds, environmental impact, and product distribution. Research, ideation, refinement, prototyping, and presentation were fully developed in the design process of FOGH (fat, oil, and grease).
Redesigned a solar powered garden light achieving material, part, and cost reduction, which ultimately created a more cost effective and superior product than the original.
The resulting prototype was heavily influenced by my interest in environmental sustainability.
Designed a one-shot espresso machine based heavily on information gathered during market and user research. Through clarifying the original consumer needs the final product has a cohesive aesthetic characterized through the product form, usability, marketing strategy and the final presentation.
