Tim Keepers attend the Graduate School of Architecture and Community Design (SACD) at the University of South Florida. During his scholastic career, Keepers has participated in, and been chosen for, a number of design galleries and competitions including the 2006, 2008 and 2009 AIA Architectural Gallery, the University of South Florida SACD’s Center Gallery Exhibit and the 2009 “Concrete Thinking for a Sustainable Future” International Design Competition, where his work earned third place recognition. Keepers won the University of South Florida SACD’s Outstanding Advanced Portfolio Award for the 2009-2010 school year, as well as the Garcia award, the largest final-year graduate accolade for overall academic achievement, leadership within the program and personal commitment to architecture.
Throughout the years, Keepers has pursued the importance of teamwork and the role of differing structures within architectural pedagogy by serving as a graduate teaching assistant in Architectural Freehand Drawing Methods, Core Design2/Graphics 2 Studio and Introduction to Architecture Studio 1.
In addition to being an active member of the American Institute of Architectural Students (AIAS) and the American Society of Architectural Illustrators (ASAI), Keepers works as the primary illustrator for Ki Illustrators, a freelance service which he founded in 2007.
