PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Junior Designer/Production Artist at Greenfield Belser
October 2009–Present
In my position at Greenfield Belser, I have learned to multitask several different time sensitive responsibilities at once. I have gained first hand experience with design and production by working in partnership with senior designers on projects– gaining invaluable exposure to the creative process. I am actively involved with every aspect of design and production projects in both print and web- from inception until launch. I have designed printed work for clients that have gone to press, and worked with printers to create optimum results. I help handle office traffic by entering all creative jobs, and checking and recording the progress of each project by talking to individuals daily on the creative team. I diligently work to enhance employee communication for a better working environment. My attention to detail, relentless hard work, and positive attitude make me an intrinsic part of my team.

Junior Graphic Designer at Ripe Studios
June 2009–October 2009
My time with Ripe Studios was the ultimate learning experience. I gained hands on experience by working one-on-one with each member of their team. I created designs for logos, posters, and other printed work as well as web layouts and refined both my design and workflow skills. I was able to meet with clients and brainstorm ideas, giving me experience in a professional setting. One of the best things I learned from them was to keep confidence in my work and myself. In addition to design responsibilities, I helped them with remedial tasks, such as organizing the filing cabinets and filing business contacts.

Internship with Greenfield Belser
May 2008–January 2009
During my internship at Greenfield Belser I worked to produce, research, and brainstorm ideas to create logos. I was able to design many logos and web banners myself, as well as crop and touch up photos that were needed for production. I also worked to help the web group design web pages, and did several spec sheets for both web and print. I reflowed new text into documents with outdated text, and edited these documents. I have had much experience with Power Point and have created power point presentations for both the studio and for clients. I also worked the front desk and gained experience answering phones and dealing with clients in a professional matter. I worked hard to organize the office, and create a great working environment for the employees in a very fast paced environment.

Independent Study
January 2009–May 2009 a semester long course I used to explore socially conscious design. I worked with The Central Virginia Foodbank to develop a logo for their children’s programs.
