Kelly Franklin is an artist born in Virginia but raised outside of Philadelphia, PA. She is a recent graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art with her Bachelors of Fine Art in Illustration. Much of the artwork she creates is based on nature and the role it plays in her own life as well as its interaction with the built environment. Currently she is trying to create work that reflects ideas of sustainability in both content and construction.
