CMJ New Music Monthly - CMJ New Music Monthly was a magazine popular among emerging-music enthusiasts that included a CD sampler. My redesign took inspiration from cutting edge music and literature “zines.†The redesign uses bold colors and a distinct square format with content organized in a variety of orientations. The reader could cut out the CD’s track list along the lines on the inside cover and insert it into a CD case. Each CD insert would be a unique abstracted image of that issue’s cover.
