Volvo Show Truck
Volvo had a show truck front exterior grill concept, that was in 2D images only.
The Volvo studio contacted a fabricator to prototype a grill for an upcoming truck show. The fabricator needed a 3D file and TIME to complete the one-off part.
I had been working in Unigraphics at the time, with the speculation there would be a need for a file soon.
With the grill pattern worked out ahead of time, I was given 3 days to build a grill assembly that would mount into a production front end.
The images show "my" part at the National Truck Show in 2012.
