    I live and breathe fashion through the eyes of an industrial designer, bringing more than 20 years of expertise in apparel and accessories design – including hardware and trims, handbags, jewelry, activewear, outerwear, and swimwear.       Managing a team of ten, including five direct reports. Reporting to the VP of Brand, Product Management and Design. Partner with senior leaders to oversee design of product and packaging across all Worklife Brands categories. Closely project manage calendar of workflow to meet deliverables across internal customers. * Created and implemented a process and training procedure for internal packaging design. * Currently building a process along with training procedure for color evaluation across product and packaging development. * Executing goal of over five thousand artwork files for release by end of year. * Providing direction and stimulus for all customer insights research for product and packaging.

      Directed design and production across all fashion and soft goods categories for the North American market, including car seats, mobility, home, and safety products. Set trend direction regarding pattern, color, textile, construction and materials across seven brands, working in tandem with industrial designers and hardgoods engineers to ensure a cohesive collection.
      Managed a 13-person team and the end-to-end design process for all retailers and brands to maintain brand integrity, and ensure sub-brands retained their unique statement and look. 
      Designed and owned the product development calendar to guide design/project milestones throughout the year. 
      Created mood boards and presentations to educate internal and external customers on consumer baby and kids industry trends. 
      Participated in line review presentations with internal and external customers, sales teams, and buyers to ensure accurate and complete sample production.
      Traveled to customer headquarters to present trends and product needs based on customer insights to ensure up-to-date product.
      Sourced textiles to ensure safety, aesthetic/trend, and cost across six brands with tariff increases.

      Guided all stages of hardware and jewelry development from initial concept through bulk approval. Appointed by leadership to join advanced development of new materials group creating concepts for future collections and sub-brands.
      Supervised a 2-person staff within the hardware team, rotating among multiple sub-brands and categories.  
      Worked with engineering and technical design teams to define hardware functionality. 
      Communicated with overseas partners on quality approval and bulk delivery. Traveled abroad to meet with internal partners and manufacturers, attended trade shows, and researched competitors in European and Asian markets.
      Guided advanced development research and innovation for all materials outside of the leather/fabric categories – including hardware, plastics, enamels, rubbers, silicones, logo concepts, and leather techniques to present across the organization.

      Designed trims and hardware for all womenswear categories – from seasonal concept to final product approval – for the Lauren, Lauren Active, Lauren Jeans co., and Chaps brands.
      Acquired knowledge of all hardware and trimming materials, building a full library for all individual brands and categories. .  
      Created artwork and orthographic drawings detailing trim numbers for manufacturers. Presented trim boards at concept reviews, handing off season to production team. Participated in all development fittings. 
      Built and maintained relationships with vendors, and traveled overseas to work with agent partners and suppliers.
      Developed items within cost per brand relative to project, while maintaining color consistency across categories.
