Tube Chair - The inspiration behind the form came about through experimentation with the upholstery process. While trying to find a way to keep tightly drawn webbing from distorting its frame, the idea of a tubular frame offered the most elegant solution. This form not only equalized its own pressure, but even eliminated the need for upholstery altogether.
