The approach to design this exhibit started with an audit of Chevron's and their competitor's booths in the previous World Petroleum Congress to find opportunities to improve the visitor experience. Based in our findings, we created a framework of experience principles, communication hierarchy and design elements that infuse the Chevron's brand essence, messaging and identity into their exhibits.
The main goal was to attract and inspire key stakeholders, partners and employees with interactive content elements and distinctive exhibit design. We created 3 initial concept directions, once the client selected one, we then developed exhibition guidelines to build brand consistency across different exhibit formats. A flexible toolkit of shared design principles and core identity components were incorporated into the design of medium and smaller exhibits.
