Quick Ship Logo submissions - Upon hire, I was tasked with updating old flyer logos and punch them up a bit. In this instance, the grey logo at top was the current logo on file, and the two options I submitted in color at the bottom. Both played on the idea of speed and timeliness, and I decided to utilize the dotted "i's" to give each a "point a to point b" theme. The solution they decidd to run with was the one to the right.
Pregnancy Profile Product logo redesign - One of my last tasks as graphic designer of Realityworks, Inc. was to revamp older curriculums and add more visual punch for recognition at the many conventions the company attended. In this instance, I decided to update the logo as well, attempting to better incorporate the "pregnancy silouhette" used in the original theme.
Logomotion Corporate Identity - This is a corporate identity I had finished for my own personal freelance business. I wanted something to convey strength, dependability and speed. I incorporated the "whoosh" within the word to further accentuate the idea of motion or moving forward.
Mondovi Community Youth Center Logo - This was a freelance project which I donated to the Mondovi Community Youth Center. They needed a logo for their new youth center, and my idea was to enclose the logo with a sturdy structure, yet convey an ability within that sturdiness to be able to freely expend the boundless energy of childhood .
Performance Fitness Systems Company Logo - Corporate identity created for a fitness and training business in Alexandria, MN. The client wanted something strong yet not overpowering, and to tie in an aspect of physical performance. For this submission (the selected one), I integrated a stopwatch theme.
Revolution Systems Corporate Identity - Corporate identity created for home security and sound system installation business in the Twin Cities. For this particular solution (customer selected), I created a sturdy mark similar to a bolt lock, and naturally added a "whoosh" shape to represent the revolution theme (and also taking the shape of a speaker). A hand drawn font solution for the word "revolution" also was selected from a seperate solution to be incorporated, with "o's" that further elaborate on the idea of revolving.
Rock Fest Logo - This was a submission for the new local "Rock Fest" logo contest. My idea was to update the older, bubblier Rock Fest logo with a newer, bolder and more alternative look. I hand-lettered the logo and integrated a guitar into the solution.
American Yard Works - Corporate Identity - This logo was created for a local yard care company, playing on a patriotic theme which the owner wished to portray in the identity for the company and to be elaborated upon more in the overall theme of the logo.
Claw Hanger Logo - This logo was designed for a hardware store product - a moveable "holster" for construction workers which holds their hammers. The customer wanted a simple logo that didn't stand out too powerfully on the product label. I decided to emphasize the "claw" aspect (which was in reference to the back part of a hammer) in the "w" of claw, and I decided to make the word "hanger" by emulating the appearance of the product in the "H" and carry the bent metal theme throughout the word.
