Largo do Machado Station - Ana Couto Branding & Design was hired to improve Metro Rio's brand experience. We have unified the stations experience but at the same time we have made each one easy to be recognized. The different colors used at the facade were already part of the Metro Rio communication, and the stand for all the different people the use Metro Rio every day. The colored stripes "go inside" the station and invite the public to do the same.
Metro Rio Stations - The colored strips go from the station facades, to its mezzanine and platforms, crating special niches for every information and contributing to a dynamic experience.
Metro Rio Stations - At the station's mezzanines, kiosks and old counter stores are being replaced by co-branded areas where people can read and buy magazines, or have a drink and kill some time, among others. The idea is to transform the stations in more then a passing by area and create a much more interesting experience.
