The back of the cards mimic traditional playing cards with a tessellated logo. Orange was the representative colour of the brand, and so fit the attitude of the cards.
Variaiotns of the cards were made, each testing the layout of the content and the usage of the QR code. How small can a code get before it is unreadable? Can it be in orange on a white background?
Scanning the QR codes with Google Goggles resulted in perfect results.
