Products should be easy to interact with and should attract people to interact with them.
I am currently a part of Greenthorne; a clothing label who’s garments are the product of a unique
collaboration with a collective of talented British artists. My responsibilities include design and marketing.
As part of London Design Festival I was one of twelve interns selected to assist in the set up, running and deconstruction of
designjunction. Working with leading industry professionals, my duties included building and disassembling exhibition stands, customer and exhibitor care, and show maintenance.
When freelancing for this retail design studio my work included designing and building POS and
Window displays for a number of stores in London, Paris and Hamburg. Clients included Disney and
During my 5 months with the London based partnership I was involved in designing a range of products, including kitchenware for such clients as Jamie Oliver and Joseph Joseph. Often tackling a number of projects at one time, we worked both individually and as a team unit to deliver excellent product solutions for a prestigious client base.
During a 3 month internship I designed and developed an aluminium lantern for this Italian partnership. This role gave me an invaluable opportunity to experience life and work in an unfamiliar culture, encouraging professional and social adaptation and embrace for a new language.
As an Apple store specialist my responsibilities included customer care and assistance and hosting in-store workshops for our customers.
I was an intern at Draw Ltd, Cardiff in April for a period of one month. Together with the partnership I designed a piece of garden furniture that focuses on recreating the art of origami through sheet metal. Interning with this relatively new company gave me a rare insight into the working world of start up design businesses.
Working in collaboration with the biggest Parkinson's Disease charity in the UK, I designed a travel cutlery set to benefit people with Parkinson's Disease.
I was one of 6 students from my university selected to attend a 2 week international intensive design project in Belgium. Working in collaboration with students of other nationalities and disciplines, I was part of a team designing a sustainable baby food warmer for the Danish brand iiamo.
