Hi Andyo, I am pleased that you like it. This clay job took about two months; but did include lot's of design study time. I kept the bike asymmetrical to try various design directions. If you detailled everything in CAD/sketch and do not change anything while clay modelling.. it can be done in 2-3 weeks. And it depends on your skills; have you done clay modelling work before, do you have the right tools etc.. I wish you all the best with your clay model. Cheers, Maarten

Hi Xavier, I am glad that you like the sketches and the final VertiGO bike! These sketches were very interesting indeed, the frame would contain large casting pieces.

Thanks Juan, this was the ideation sketch which was the start of the final VertiGO design. With the flowing seat/tank structure.

Hi Joe, cool that you like the split in the tank. The main reason for the split is that I aimed on emphasizing the emptiness under the seat/tank. In the final prototyping phase the exact dimensions on width and height of these carbon fiber beams need to be optimized by airflow dynamics indeed. The clay is great indeed, I miss it every day. Great to work with. Although I like the shiny white VertiGO better than I love a matte brown motorcycle..

Thanks guys, the wesp tail is one of the main features in this design, slim and agile! The structural parts of the seat/tank area are made of carbon fiber. This will eliminate the need for a cross beam from the seat to the engine; emphasizing the empty space under the seat/tank. Many thanks that you all appreciate the looks of the VertiGO. Cheers!
