Ski Do Me - I grew up in MN and loved the ole Snowmobile. Just the smell of the fumes gets ya psyched for a good ole time. This is my first snowmobile design based on the latest stylings ski-doo in 2100. I thought it would be good to do a tandem model. Pass the beer nuts please...

"Apple Picking Time_Yay!" - Found an old sketch in my book so I thought I would finish the story tonight after dinner. When I was 5 me and my twin brother used to love waking up, putting our overalls on and going to my Grandpas farm. He would put us in the scoop of his tractor and drive down the isles of Apples. We got to pick them right off the tree. Cool.

HA! Yep that is my wife. She spend way to much time in at the salon! This had one spinning group of people in the original ride. I thought I would spice it up with 10 groups of people spinning. It would be fun to climb this sucker and get in your seat for some of the top levels.

Thanks Giustiano. Just buy that 21UX and dont look back! You will get faster and better. Keep sketching on the pad though too. Switch it up. I do all my original sketches on paper in a comfortable spot. (outside usually)

Initial sketch was about 10 minutes of scratching it out. Final rendering was about 2-3 hours tops. Since I have done so many of these over the past 2 years my process has evolved and it pretty methodical with the stages within Photoshop. If I am in the right mindset and groove that really helps. You have to inspire yourself and jump over hurdles mentally. Love the challenge!!

Hey Dongwoo. Thanks for the comments. I shoot cars and trucks on my way in to work most mornings. With the trucks I put the camera literally on the road to get these angles. Then I paint over them in photoshop and mash it up. This was a truck facing away from you. I raised it up and painted all over it and added the tracks. Hope that helps. I gotta do more of these. Fun and fast!!

Thanks Guys! I started doing these renders about 1.5 years ago. This would have taken me about 6-8 hours back then. Forcing myself to do so many of these over time has gotten my speed way up. I do a quick sketch that inspires me and can render these in about 1 hour or so now with minimal layers in PS. Speed and good design is the key.

Thanks Michal. When I see an image that inpires me a will sometimes use that to fuel my own study. I am always trying to switch it up on every sketch. I hope to get a more polished feel and look and start some serious work soon. Just establishing myself. Starting to generate my own look....

Thanks guys. I did all of these with permanent marker on a pad in about an hour or two sitting then I scanned them all in and finished it up in Photoshop. Most of my portfolio is all experimenting. I will soon be working on some more polished pieces for a book I am starting on soon.

Thanks Guys! I started doing these renders about 1.5 years ago. This would have taken me about 6-8 hours back then. Forcing myself to do so many of these over time has gotten my speed way up. I do a quick sketch that inspires me and can render these in about 1 hour or so now with minimal layers in PS. Speed and good design is the key.

Hey Dongwoo. Thanks for the comments. I shoot cars and trucks on my way in to work most mornings. With the trucks I put the camera literally on the road to get these angles. Then I paint over them in photoshop and mash it up. This was a truck facing away from you. I raised it up and painted all over it and added the tracks. Hope that helps. I gotta do more of these. Fun and fast!!

Initial sketch was about 10 minutes of scratching it out. Final rendering was about 2-3 hours tops. Since I have done so many of these over the past 2 years my process has evolved and it pretty methodical with the stages within Photoshop. If I am in the right mindset and groove that really helps. You have to inspire yourself and jump over hurdles mentally. Love the challenge!!

Thanks Kevin. It is based off of a photo of this vw bug near work. It is 90% paint over in Photoshop and 10% morphed parts from the bug. I will post or send you original photo I took if you want to see it. Keep dreaming up the good stuff!!

HA! Yep that is my wife. She spend way to much time in at the salon! This had one spinning group of people in the original ride. I thought I would spice it up with 10 groups of people spinning. It would be fun to climb this sucker and get in your seat for some of the top levels.
