This was an image I found, drawn in black and white by an E. Beerly in 03? It took close to four hours for me to get the color pallet right. I was able to show an organic flesh tone, while giving the saliva a toxic radioactive feel, and maintaining the otherworldly feel with the detail in the smoke from the eyes.
