TAL, located in Ontario, California and Taiwan, is the leading manufacture of ceiling fans in the world. TAL in Ontario, CA is the main design office.
The joy of working for this company is that I have the freedom to create and implement innovative ideas through the entire design development process. My process for this includes generating designs from thorough research, hand sketching, producing line drawings with manufacturing details, and lastly, hand or computer renderings for final presentation.
I have worked very diligently and am grateful for experiences that include: Knowledge of various fabrication processes and materials. Experience in casting, stamping, injection molding, and resin molding using materials such as ABS, acrylic, glass, aluminum, zinc, steel, and wood to create innovative ceiling fans and lighting. I have been fortunate to spend time in China and Taiwan at factories to help supervise engineers and multiple vendors to ensure the specifications of each product are accurate to their respective design.
