As the leader of designer team, I independently prepared design management system based on Microsoft Access to track the whole process from design draft to final product. In addition, the development time, designer and other information can be all recorded in it as well. By generating different reports, it could provide project statistics, designer performance evaluation and other functions. Currently, this system is managing dozens of designers, hundreds of projects and over 100 designs.
I designed the standardized design system for the company. It includes six modules, namely the design management system, product system, package system, label system, icon system and promotion application system. It introduces the advanced international design management theories to Chinese enterprises, so as to effectively discover the potential power in cross-team cooperation.
