When I worked with Stixx we created some posters to get the attention of the Detroit Pistons and Detroit Red Wings. We landed meetings with both. They loved our designs and our product. They wanted more designs and gave me total creative control. Since we weren't licensed I could only use logos so in each piece I gave the logo a new treatment. I really wanted to capture some of the nostalgic feelings we associate with sports. We sold posters at Pistons games and Hockeytown Authentics. We also sent posters out to other sports organizations across the country. The posters were created using a combination of jpeg to vector reproductions, Photoshop effects, and other vector art elements.
