Fundology is a online networking platform for private investment professionals that aimed to address core issues in the market to streamline the deal acquisition process, shaped from endless meetings, product research, and an intimate knowledge of the downtown Chicago investment scene.
As the principal designer and team lead at Fundology, my mission was to work alongside the President, an experienced M&A investor, to strategically approach problem areas of the existing fragmented investment market and design an attractive solution with the user and their goals in mind. One that steps beyond ancient technology and the traditional "rocket scientist training needed” platform.
Heavily focused on user behavior and sociology to promote network engagement and build a platform that directly speaks to each users’ specific needs. Conducted A/B testing, heat/confetti mapping, feedback sessions, and social media analysis to aid in the decision-making process that affected the deployment of product campaigns and overall evolution of the Fundology platform.
Represented Fundology at investment and networking events in Chicago and Miami. Member of Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors® (AM&AA).
Managed the design and deployment of a weekly email video interview newsletter to financial executives, “Movers, Shakers & Dealmakers,” reaching 40,000+ subscribers.

As a UI/UX designer at Cynergy, I served on the bleeding edge of technology and human empathy. My mission was to approach each project with the courage to continually design web/mobile interfaces in the best interest of the people using them to improve usability and the overall user experience.
Additionally, as an architect (designer and coder), I assisted teams by creating in-depth style guides, design asset libraries, and semi-functional, interactive prototypes to effectively communicate the desired end-state of our deliverable to technical leads and the client. This enabled the bridging of a traditional disconnect between designers and developers which allowed the product to stay true to the final concept and ultimately lead to higher levels of team cohesion.
Extensive usage of Coda, the Adobe Creative Suite CS5/CS6: Photoshop, InDesign, Flash Catalyst, Fireworks, Illustrator; and Microsoft Expression Blend, Microsoft Office Suite.
** Added role: Led the creative and structural layout process for project proposals in Adobe InDesign, producing 90+ proposals and RFP responses in collaboration with the President and the sales team.
