Created a bright and cozy kitchen where there wasn't one before! In a small nook between the main living space and bedroom - I created a fun and functional space for my client to finally enjoy cooking in this NY apartment share! Broke through a useless empty soffit above existing cabinets to create a huge amount of upper storage. Added custom-made cabinet doors and shelving. Updated plumbing and added a new sink, cabinets and a full-sized fridge. Laid a new floor and refinished client's existing storage cart, then topped everything with custom-made counter tops. I am a NY decorator and designer who really enjoys a hands-on project... and this one was about as hands-on as it gets! Broke through the upper wall to add storage space, and decorated the walls with art made by her family.
