This is a four cd boxed set comp for the induction of Bossa Nova legend Antonio Carlos Jobim into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. The glossy black cover stock contrasts the colorful layout on matte paper used inside, while the color usage is reminscent of the fun loving Bossa Nova flair of the 1960's. Typographically, the font Bodoni fits perfectly with the style and class of the late jazz musician, while being playful like the Bossa Nova style he created. Of particular note is the non-traditional 20-page booklet that fits into the set box. The pages swivel around the chicago screw that the pages rotate around. The pages are double sided and contain the history, photos and stories within the happenings of Jobim's life. In all, the project is a fusion of music, styled imagery and typography all with the flavor and pizzazz Bossa Nova.
