EMPLOYMENT 2008 - PRESENT EILEEN FISHER SENIOR DESIGNER Consult on design and product development via creation of mood boards, sketching, conducting fittings, color direction and fabric. Results: Eileen Fisher continues to be one of the most successful and modern brands in the United States. Presently enjoying a new found cult following with the hip 20-35 age demographic. 2007 - 2008 SIGRID OLSEN DESIGN DIRECTOR OF WOVEN'S Developed a new contemporary lifestyle missy collection including concepts, fabric research, sketching, color pallet, denim design and European and Far East Travel. Worked closely with the Creative Director, Sigrid Olsen and the merchandising/production teams for a clear communication between Boston, New York and Hong Kong. Results: The new direction won raves from WWD, and the Ceo and management of Liz Caiborne 2003 - 2007 DESIGN CONSULTANT INDEPENDENT CLIENT LIST: CHARLES NOLAN, ESPRIT, OSCAR DE LA RENTA, SAKS FIFTH AVENUE 2002 - 2003 ANNE KLEIN SENIOR DESIGNER - AK ANNE KLEIN Designed the AK Anne Klein collection, creating a new Tailored sportswear, Dress, Suit and Denim collection within the division. Researched concepts, trends, fabric and design ideas. Reported to the VP of Design, Charles Nolan, and worked closely with the Merchandising and technical teams to develop a new modern better priced collection. Managed a team of four. Results: The new Direction resulted in the collection being received in 50 new doors! 2001 - 2002 LVB STUDIO OWNER/CREATIVE DIRECTOR Created a new young designer brand at the contemporary/young designer price point. Results: The collection, Michael Butler Inc. caught the attention of Anna Wintour of Vogue, WWD, New York Post, Barney’s, Gen-Art and the City Museum of New York. 1998 - 2001 EXPRESS SENIOR DESIGNER Collaborated with the design/merch team to develop seasonal concepts, brand image, and design direction for a women’s contemporary sportswear collection. Developed the women’s outerwear and worked with vendors and factories in the Far East and Europe. Results: Express is one of the most sucessful brands in the market. The outerwear division became on the most successful division in the company, increasing sales by 200% and generating $60 million annually. 1991 - 1998 ELLEN TRACY DESIGNER Developed Ellen Tracy’s contemporary casual collection, COMPANY, as part of a 3 member design team. Worked closely with the Creative Director Linda Allard, developing a new vision through sketching, color, fabric, and denim and wash research. Worked with a staff of master tailors, patternmakers, and sewers in first and production fittings to create a new casual Collection.
