Conversation Piece - A balloon filled with CO2 gas acts as a sound lens focusing sound from one chair to its opposite. A spoken whisper can clearly be heard from a large distance. The Conversation Piece is composed of a large weather balloon filled with carbon dioxide gas, a cage assembly and two bench assemblies composed of individual chairs fixed to a specific location to optimize the effect of the exhibit.
