I believe that all design is intertwined. My time studying design has allowed me to have a hand in each field at some point in my educational and professional career. What I thrive on most is the variety that is offered in industrial design. The strategies involved in creating successful solutions are similar no matter what the problems or genres of design are, and these methods are where my knowledge and understanding are strongest.
Went through the product development life-cycle from brainstorming to engineering drawings and material selection.
Developed an idea with an independent entrepreneur/inventor who wants to launch his idea on Kickstarter.
Developed infographics, 3D Models, and renderings.
Continued a successful project that stemmed from a multi-disciplinary group project that started in the Fall semester of 2012.
Fabricated and tested a fully functional spirometer calibration unit.
Created exhibition materials and presented our idea to potential nanciers.
Developed prototypes that complied with military safety standards.
Carried out in-field research using prototypes and specially crafted testing tools that allowed us to gather real-time information.
