Mikela is a mixed media illustrator that has been said to use everything but the kitchen sink in her work. Her style has an innocent yet sophisticated quality that enables her to work in both the children's and editorial market of print and publishing with ease. Most often Mikela illustrates the moments that are often overlooked which gives her work a nostalgic quality.
