ONO Hawaiian Foods

ONO Fine Hawaiian Foods - For my Hawaiian food I had the concept of keeping the style from looking too overly commercialized by restricting labels to two colors and drawing all the images using the simplistic vector-drawn style. I packaged the items in sizes relative to food sold in Hawaii and not in the states. I made the labels organic by using different shapes for each one’s design. Each label has a vector drawing of the product’s base ingredients. I used vector images on my coasters and cookbook as well. The pictures were the main ingredients used to make the recipes. Lastly, the logo was made up of many well known Hawaiian items or symbols. This gave me plenty of objects to take from the identity while allowing me to keep an overall unified defining look. The name ONO was used because it is Hawaiian for something that is good or delicious.
