Fisher-Price™ Ophthalmoscope & Otoscope - The challenge was to design a pediatric line of medical equipment to help alleviate children’s anxiety associated with a doctor’s visit. This project stretched the design limits of form and function. Despite the pleasing design it still fulfilled the refined needs of highly specialized physicians. Proposed was the implementation of a memory chip to capture images of the Tympanic Membrane and Retina to be uploaded and stored in the permanent medical record.
