Icons - These are symbolized Star Wars villains that are introduced in each episode. This peice was very fun for me to do. It allowed me to recognize that simple icons can be just as meaningful as complex ones.
Feet - charcoal drawing of brothers feet from observation.
Hands - A fun home project for me to do. I drew the hands sometime in high school and once i was familiar with Photoshop I put them all together in this composition just a few days ago. It's fun to go back to original drawings and add another layer to them.
Cast Mask - This was a casting made from plaster of my face. I painted, carved, and added detail to the actual casting. I imported my photo into Photoshop and added the background and some filters and this was the result.
Bones - One charcoal drawing from a series. This exercise furthered my ability to visually see detail and quickly record it within a time limit.
Kitchen - A peice that I worked on that helped to understand relationship between black and white.
Gesture Drawings - This peice was a lot of fun for me to do. These quick gesture drawings were done with a live model holding positions for only a few minutes. It is done with india ink and watercolor.
