Attraction Pase - Currently, technology users may become frustrated when they have a problem with their product or need an opinion before deciding a purchase. This frustration may occur because of waiting time at the store to speak with a professional, they have a specific question and can only find general answers, or they are using the product inefficiently. Users typically prefer answers to their questions in a fast, direct, and useful manner. Our service provides a solution for user dismay.
Two important concepts - We began by brainstorming the qualities of an ideal expert. We considered how users seek trusted and relevant opinions and made the observation that users usually first approach their family or friends who are 'tech savvy' before asking for professional advice.

Getting Involved - This is a map of how users can become involved in the system. They can either seek out advice, or become an expert themselves by taking an exam provided by their service in their area of specialty. We also identified the channels of communication that are involved and the function of the system.

Our project is a system that connects users who have questions to users who have answers. We have constructed a website, a newsletter, and placed QR codes with products in the store which are tools for users to connect with experts and also provide information about products and usage. When brainstorming ideas about how to improve expert advice in retail, our team concentrated on identifying the experts that exist but are unrecognized. We wanted to provide them an opportunity that allowed them to be helpful to others, yet still receive a benefit for providing their assistance. If users become involved, they are able to receive credit in our service, which allows them to receive special offers or discounts in the retail store.
