With over a decade of design experience, I can bring a wealth of knowledge and ideas to any design team. I am a fast learner and can hit the ground running in virtually any design environment. Currently I am working with local product development companies and startups. Need some design advice, sketching or CAD work for your project or idea? Let me know how I can be of help. I'm only an email or phone call away.

At SMP I developed Point Of Purchase displays along client briefs. I came up with numerous creative POP solutions per week many seeing wide production. I also designed graphics for prototypes, developed instruction sheets and modelled various products and parts for projects as needed. One highlight was a new mechanism for attaching small baskets to the sides of displays with 1” tube legs without the need for hardware or tools.
I was also part of a small team which developed a line of capital equipment for heavy ortho. cases and a number of other products centring around surgical procedures. My biggest contribution was designing the bulk of a hydraulic IV stand. My favorite details include a five pedal design so the lift could be activated no matter which way the stand was oriented, an ergonomic handle and trim pieces.

SCAD was fantastic. I got to do everything I had been wanting to do ever since I was a little kid. Taking things apart, putting them back together, learning about all kinds of new things, cutting up paper, drawing, coming up with great ideas, painting things, making things, learning cool computer programs, working with cool machines and the whole bit. I loved every minute of it.
