great idea, could be used with many different materials to get different effects and then send them through the laser cutter

Looks nice. I'd be interested in seeing some photos with the product reversed, ie, the keys are bare, but the rest is covered in wood, so the keys are flush with the wood. Would be nice to include the adhesive on that part as well in case people would rather use it that way.

How did you learn about sandblasting wood to get that effect? I can see this technique being applied in many different applications.
