Resfest 2005 - Singapore - Creative Direction, Exhibition Design, Installation - Festival - What's with the boxes? Good question. Resfest, a film festival that reaches 35 cities across 6 continents. Evidently creativity travels, not unlike cargo. What you see is 800 boxes, all of which went home with some1 at the end of the 4-day festival. Ideally (meaning: more $) there'd be 5000! A versatile yet non-invasive scheme using humble materials on a conservative budget. "Take-away" guaranteed, literally.
HOME CLUB - SINGAPORE - Interior design - Entertainment - Needless to say this undertaking got a bit literal. Voted Best Underground Club(Juice magazine Dec2006), Best Club(Small scale), and Best New Club Night for Poptartz@HOME (JUICE magazine Dec 2005). Recently added new staging area for live music performances/ VIP area.
CABANA - Creative direction, Interior design - Retail (Beauty, lifestyle) - Inspired by cabana boys & girls the world over we set out to create a hip & sexy beauty shop. Particular care was taken to provide lighting to properly assess the customer's "tanning" progress. While Cabana is inspired by the tropics, selected cabanas are hotter than others and a couple are decidedly european. Call ahead to let them know what you're feeling...
