Design and merchandise on-trend and brand-appropriate juvenile product. Create artwork and partner with graphic artists to execute surface design vision. Collaborate with design team to reach departmental milestones, while responding to product marketing and sales initiatives. Manage design and production of licensed brands. Partner with overseas sourcing and development team to ensure high-quality prototypes delivered on time and within cost. Travel to relevant industry shows gathering design inspiration, sourcing materials and purchasing artwork.

Create original artwork from inspiration and direction from fashion designers.
Operate and maintain two large format digital fabric printers, color-matching
and printing yardage for product samples.
Identify seasonal color palettes from trend sources and refine for juvenile market.
Design seasonal style pages for creative team direction and inspiration, as well
as internal line reviews and retailer presentations.

Design and merchandise juvenile product collections for in-house and licensed brands. Create product concepts, technical specs, and provide styling direction to overseas partners to execute prototypes. Collaborate with textile designers on artwork development. Manage design and production of licensed and private label brands.

Create techical files for gift and stationary concept development. Execute all aspects of pre-production development and quality assurance. Communicate daily with overseas manufacturing team on sample development. Maintain materials library.
