2012-Current: Design Associate- Minted.com (2 months). Design and production for online postcard company, providing support by proofing and customizing outgoing orders for existing clients. Printable items include: holiday and seasonal cards, gift cards, calendars, baby shower and wedding invitations.
2012: Events Coordinator- San Francisco ‘Zine Fest 2012, (2 months). Assisted with festival setup, special event promotions and booth display for independent publishers from around the Bay Area.
2012: Graphic Artist/Publisher-“Excessive Realms” ‘Zine, (3 months). Single issue graphic arts publication.
2011: Graphic Designer/Editor/Publisher-“Gems” Interview Magazine, (1 year). Quarterly SF music publication.
2010: Gallery Volunteer-SF Center for the Book, (1 year). Assisted with installation and breakdown of bookbindery and letterpress gallery exhibits, classroom assistance, data entry and blogger for various open studio events.
2009: Computer Aided Drafter-Vintage Contractors, (3 months). Prepared initial reports for project manager,
revised existing CAD drawings and located billable materials from blueprints for public playground school facilities.
2005-2008: Design Assistant and Coordinator-Pottery Barn Product Development, (2-1/2 years). Head Coordinator and Design Assistant at Pottery Barn's product design and development studio. I was responsible for the setup, breakdown and maintenance of new product line displays, provided scheduled timelines to department managers for giving daily direction to other coordinators and set-builders. I also assisted our VP with daily and weekly scheduled print related design tasks as well as any last minute creative needs. Other print related duties included: large format printing, poster design, documented photography of seasonal displays and also the formulation of quarterly reference guidebooks to give to our buyers for next year’s product line.
2005: Account Executive-TMP Worldwide Advertising, (4 months). I managed print and distribution for Kaiser Permanente's, "Thrive" Campaign. Duties included: copy editing and ad placement for newsprint and medical journals, as well as online medical periodicals throughout the Pacific Northwest.
1992-2004: Freelance Design, (12 years). Print related: The Flaming Lips, Bikini Kill, Virgin Records, Matador Records, Drag City Records, Merge Records, Van De Steeg and Associates, MCI Worldcom, Regional Aids Interfaith Network, Advanced Chemical Technology, Film Arts Foundation, etc…
