On display in the Graphic Arts Gallery in the Library of Congress Thomas Jefferson Building, Washington, D.C, “A Day Like No Other: Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington” transports visitors to the momentous day of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, August 28, 1963. The exhibition consists of 42 black-and-white images and marks what Martin Luther King Jr. called "the greatest demonstration for freedom in the nation’s history."
Working with the Interpretive Programs Office of the Library of Congress, Shveima Associates provided exhibit design services for the installation. Work includes the design of all graphic elements including a brochure, the planning and layout of the exhibit space, mat/frame specifications and the delivery of production-ready files and oversight of final fabrication and installation.
