Hi there. I'm a graphic designer, graduated from NSCAD University with an Honours degree in Communication Design. I'm currently a Senior Designer in a design/custom publishing firm. In my freelance work, I've worked with a slew of clients; from night clubs to a trucking company, and has created corporate identities, posters, web-sites, CD covers, you name it. I've also worked as an In-House Designer, and taught a class in Digital Layout.

Designer :: September 2006 – December 2007
• Senior Designer for Aeroplan Arrival, a travel and lifestyle magazine, aimed at over 1,000,000 top-tier Aeroplan members (English and French). Aided in running art department, ie: directing photoshoots, liaising with photographers, image research, preparing files for reproduction, colour correction, etc.
• Art Directed projects for The Principal Financial Group, designing both internal and customer-facing pieces, including direct mail, brochures and manuals, on restrictiveprint-on-demand facilities. Pushed company’s limited visual identity which, according to their Brand Director, “sets the standard” for new materials.
• Design custom content, advertisements, direct mail pieces, and advertorials for various clients including Mazda, Scotts, CAA, Sears and Home Depot.

• Independently responsible for design and production of all visual materials, including: newspaper and magazine ads, brochures, business cards, and in-store signage.
• Designed and produced 200 page Product and Services Catalogue. Worked closely with sales reps to gather appropriate content representing thousands of products. Organized materials into an easy to use catalogue which resulted in a 30% increase in sales.
• Developed and created www.hydraulic-systems.com. Gathered materials, organized hierarchy and designed structure in order to code 650+ pages.

• Designed and completed floral arrangements, including, fresh, dried and silk work.

• Designed floral arrangements, performed cash and phone sales, and merchandising.
