Embrace Installation - This typographic installation is an homage to my grandparents and their farm. Letters based on my Grandma Elhard's handwriting merge with the fence constructed by my grandfather. The fluid control of her handwriting is set within the fierce material of barbed wire. The letterforms are supported by barbed rule lines of a fence used to contain animals and repel predators. Embrace is practical yet nostalgic and still exists in all its form and feeling today.
