The Villager website - This is a website I designed for my daily school newspaper, The Villager, and probably the biggest web design project I've completed. Behind the scenes, the site is running WordPress, which, though a blogging system, fits The Villagers purposes very well. I knew no PHP before making this website, and taught myself as I went. The theme is created from scratch, though with the help of a few tutorials here and there.
