Graphic Design Professional Practice

-Helped develop a proposed redesign of the Vote-by-Mail program used by the State of Oregon. The project included a redesign of ballots, the voter material, voter registration card, and user research. This work was a part of the Voter Experience Redesign Initiative of AIGA Chicago completed in association with Design with Democracy, Inc. Implementation is planned for the 2004 general election. -Created a new logo type for the Midwest Outreach for Swiss American Innovation and Culture and designed their bi-monthly newsletter in collaboration with their Creative Director.

-Was one of four students who passed a portfolio review to study abroad at the School of Design and Arts in Lucern, Switzerland. Involved in multiple projects such as, poster design competition. One of my three posters, which were submitted, was picked by a judging panel to be displayed in Switzerland for the New Year (2003).


Trnava Poster Triennial 2003
Trnava, Slovakia

-Participated in an exhibition called the International Trnava Poster Triennial 2003. Picked by a international judging panel as one of the best international posters of the year within the design community and student work. Currently being exhibited at the Jan Koniarek Gallery, Koppel House, Centre of Contemporary Art, The house of Jesus Community, and City Hall in Slovenia and documented (creation of a book/catalogue).
