Furniture - This section highlights various pieces of furniture I’ve designed and constructed. The chair and lamp seek to expose the beauty of utilitarian materials: plywood, industrial felt and paper. Two tables explore the boundaries of what constitutes a surface, providing a deconstructed space for placing objects on or in instead of a flat two-dimensional plane. The last piece came out of a series of experiments in designing parasitic and symbiotic furniture.
