The church I attend, Love Life Family Christian Center, had decided that they wanted to completely revamp the children's wing of the campus. It would be used for the church and also rented out during the week by a Day Care Center. I offered to do full SketchUp models of three different rooms, to give them a design direction to present to the Day Care and different investors.
In the Nursery I tried to keep costs down, while still giving the space a completely different look while still adding functionality. The room already had built in storage closets along the entry wall. I took the doors off, and re-purposed for built in desk areas, cubbies, storage, and diaper changing stations. For flooring I suggested carpet tiles, for easy replacement in case an area was badly stained, and laminate for areas where food would be present. There is an area for high chairs, and I left the existing separated storage area as is, with the exception of the whimsical new bathroom signs.
