Reface the Base
Entry for the Victoria Square/Commerz Real 'Reface the Base' competition, September 2012. The brief was to design a new shopping experience within the 44,000 sq. feet basement of the Victoria Square shopping centre in Belfast. The design consists of a flexible market place with adaptable and fixed retail units. The main design drivers were to overcome the lack of any natural light and street access.
