I would describe myself as an aspiring artist who has the basic drawing skills (lines,shape,color,value) the basic princapals of design but I never really had the opportunities or work to showcase my skills in art. I am also a visually impaired artist who has been inspired by other visaully impaired and blind artists such as John Bramblitt and Jeff Owen Hanson.

Work History

I have an Associates Degree in in Graphic Arts from Cuyahoga Community College 1992-1997 1997-1998 Cleveland Sight Center -- Works as freelance typesetter/graphic artist for their agancy newsletter, designed a couple Christamas Cards and photo frames. 1998-1999 Worked as a temporary typesetter at Global Printing, small print shop in Westlake, Ohio. I did pagelayout and typesetting projects such as brochures, flyers, and adverstisements. 2001 Designed logo for the Ohio State School f/t Blind Alumni Association. Although I have been out of the loop as far as my artwork I have been inspired to persue my art career and get my artwork out there. I was referred to this website from a good friend who works for American Greetings in Cleveland, and also inspired from other artists who are also blind and visually impaired. I am currently taking drawing classes at Beck Center School of the Arts in Lakewood, Ohio.
