Peter Wolf (of the J. Geils Band) is a true Bostonian. All he wanted to talk about through the entire shoot was restaurants.
One of my favorites: the fashion editor wanted to recreate the cover illustrations of some trashy 60s paperbacks, using updated fashions. I suggested that we actually execute the covers as if her photo shoots were the illustrations. The whole editorial department chipped in with teasers and author names. 5 pages altogether.
Sometimes the photographer makes my job very, very easy.
